Her parents' turbulent marriage led to divorce, and Lena faced poverty, abuse, and the loss of her first child at 15.Just when she thought she was being rescued from her heroine addiction and taken from the streets, she found herself hearing the bells for the call to pray, waking up in Cairo, Egypt. It took her a while to realize that the lady she thought was helping her, had sold her to sex traffickers. Lena shares her story without all the awful, torturous details but rather wanting to take us on her journey towards faith and peace. Today, she is a wife, mother, social justice advocate, blogger, speaker, and host of the Love&BLoved Podcast.
